spoke to springfield acura today (who told me ONLY comptech parts are covered when I bought my car) but their service dept feels differently. they new nothing about comptech and said they prob wouldn't even install but he'll get back to me tommorrow after he does some research.......

then again springfield is retarted. 0 for 3 with me if they don't come through on this.gonna make some more calls tomorrow...............

Seeing as how these springs compress the OEM shocks by 1-inch, I would doubt that any Acura dealer would warrant them. It's not like Comptech is a division of Honda or anything like that so why would they? The 1-inch probably isn't going to make much of a difference but I could see someone trying to get "warranty work" on their shocks that have been used with a Comptech springs if that was the case and there is no reason for Acura to place themselves into such a compromising position.

It really depends on the Acura dealer. My dealer said they would warrant the Comptech springs, but then again they're charging me $600 for install, basically making me pay for struts now haha.
