why? i think any of the color combos w/ the exception of desert mist is hot. but that's just me

if you get SSM, dirt doesn't seem to show much

darker colors, dirt is more noticeable

just ask salut. he has a black 04 TL and has successfully turned his front rims to gun metal and the black color into a brownish haze

Why a poll? You have selected the three most popular colors in that sentence. They are all good to the people who selected them. If you are changing, why not try something different?

i personally think ANTHRACITE is a more CUSTOMIZABLE COLOR...because when you want to get rims....almost anything will go and its a nice sleak color when tinting......SSM is basically a stand alone color and isn't as customizable as ANthracite...i have SSM and i love it so im not complaining but sometimes i wish i had the Anthracite

i actually had to decide between black and anthracite. the black supposedly has some blue flakes (as told by the salesperson), but didn't notice/see any personally. while black does the look nice, i like the anthracite better. silver's always nice, but not the best on the 3g TL imo (sorry to all SSM owners).
wouldn't ya be losing too much money to trade in your NHB just cuz of the color? you might be better of re-painting it down the road. re-paint it in anthracite, that is. hehe

Seems kind of silly to waste thousands of dollars just to change the color. It's not like black is hideous.

I originally wanted anthracite when i first sought out to buy the car, but i settled for ssm (2nd choice) because i got an awesome deal. Now when i see anthracite driving by in person i just say damn it looks bland! im so glad i did not get that color. Personally i like lexus's charcol paint color, its much better because its more "metaliclly"

I have SSM but voted for AM. The AM is the collest color, but harder to keep clean. I have no reproaches about not getting AM. In a year or two, those metalic gray colors will be as common as silver

There are definitely some blue flakes, and they really stand out on a sunny day.

I love the NBP and glad I made that choice, although it is a total b!tch to keep clean.

As for your poll, I voted SSM, mainly because the Anthracite seems to be Acura's answer to all the gun-metalish Lexus and BMWs out there that seem to make up 75% of each of their fleets.

I'd say go with SSM. You can never go wrong.

I got AM, but i would seriously consider ABP if I were to do it over again, because they are pretty rare. There are way too many SSM, AM and NBP out there.

Go with SSM. It's shiny, easy to clean, hides chips and scratches, and ages well. Athracite is boring. I fail to see why it's so popular.

You should SERIOUSLY consider the ABP with camel. I was dead set on the Anthracite for awhile till the dealer ordered the ABP A-Spec with Camel for me to look at .... I bought it that day.
