Coinholders

Does anybody know where (asides from going to the dealer) I can get a couple more coinholders?

Now that I found out that the coinholder can go in both side storage bins as well as the center armrest I figure why not have one in every location.

I know...many of you probably think I'm a freak for wanting to do this (my wife sure does )...but I always have too much change in the car and at least this would help me keep it under control.

If anyone can point me to an online site where I can order these I would appreciate it. Otherwise, I'll just head over to the dealer and see what they say.

Yes, if you got to the following site: http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org ...

Then, choose your car, transmission etc. Then for system/component choose "Rear Console". You'll see a schematic of the different components. Part 013 is the coin box. It's ass expensive for one.

Ouch!

Yes it is quite "ass expensive." I think I'll just "deal" with having the coins jingling around instead.

Thanks for the link though!

Cripes! There is indeed no better way to describe it than "ass expensive" - just have them shove the coin box up your ass to complete the painful transaction.

Great site, though. Thanks for sharing the link.

Here's another site, and it's $2.50 less. Can you believe $33.34 for that little coinholder?

rgarcia:

I'll be happy to give you mine. PM me your mailing address and you'll have it by the end of the week.

I've modded the optional factory ashtray into an optional factory coinholder that fits in one of the cupholders....I simply close the lid and put the whole thing in the glovebox when I've got a two-drink situation.

So.....if you want one of the ones that come standard with the car, it's yours.

Talking Coinholder Offer

boltjames,

I received the coinholder and I'm with joy since now most of my loose change is no more.

I don't care what others think, in my book, you are one heck of a nice guy!

Thanks a million!

Ruben

2 words. Test drive. Take 2 of them and you'll have the whole car hooked up.

I don't know. But try this.
When you access the site:
Click on: Acura automotive parts (for parts) or accessories (for accessories)
Model = TL
Year = 2004
Trim = 4DRTL or 4DRTL Navi
Emission Type = KA5AT
System/component = pick one out from the list

If you bolted it in the right place, you won't have to glue your loose velcro strips
