Clunking sound when shifting into reverse

Our 04 Tl makes a very noticable clunking sound whenever I shift into Reverse from either Drive or park. Is this normal?

Mine does it too. Doesn't bother me but I think its normal.

If you look at the bottom of this thread it does a search for you and displays related topics. Looks like others hear it too.

It's definitely not the side mirror, I can hear it coming from beneath the car. I'm pretty sure it's a normal thing, just want to make sure that others hear it also.

Our MDX does that also, every time it is serviced I tell them to fix it and they do it, but it comes right back after 2-3K miles...

Mine does that too. It is normal to hear a little clunking noise and I mean very littel when you pull into reverse. I wouldn't worry about it!!!!
