Closeup of DRL bulb socket '07-'08

I switched out bulbs in my DRL for Nokya 2500k. I spent nearly an hour twisting and turning to get the bulbs to fit. after I turned them on, realized they are slightly crooked. I got fed up and just put everything back together. Does anyone have a picture of where the tabs are suppose to be behind each headlight? This would help me out alot. Instead I've just been spinning it around and around until it kind of feels snug. I dont want the bulb falling out and burning anything so I would like to fix this. Of course I can take my headlight out, but that is for another project. I want to fix this now and for future changes. TIA

ughh i had same problem... i just twisted them in and let them be, than when i took my headlights off to clear them, 2 taps were in properly but 3rd one never made it in. They wont fall out.. i drove with mine like that for quiet some time.. the socket seems to be way too tight for all 3 pins to go especially if you cant see where you twisting.

I tried for half out and gave up and ripped my bumper and lights out and did it right lol. It was so much quiter and less painful.

i baked my headlights this weekend and even with the lights out, i had a press on the bulb very hard for it to get all 3 tabs in the socket. there is no way in hell it would have been easy for somebody to change while its in the car...

Agreed it's such a pain in the pass to get them all aligned properly through touch. I spent easily half an hour wiggling them around and only ended up with the driver side perfectly in and the passenger side still partially off. I might take off the bumper and lights to get them in perfectly one of these days.

Make sure your bulbs are the right size. I ordered a set of Nokias on ebay and I didn't realize until trying to fit it in the socket for an hour that they had sent me 1-9005 & 1-9006 bulb.
