Unhappy Clock Bezel Panel

Okay, I've done my search on the forum on how to remove the clock bezel panel. I've followed the manual someone scanned with the hanger method suggested. However, I couldn't locate the "clip" where you are supposed to use the hanger hook to pull it off. Moreover, i almost broke the vent directional fan when I tried to pull on something. I need help. How to remove the panel?!

Theres no "clip".

Read the Ipod interface directions.
Once you remove the radio, and the two lower screws, you reach inside the vent, grab the edge of the vent with a coathanger with a small hook on it, and YANK.

put a towel around your hanger to protect your vent from scratchs...
