its posible but not recommended. i had alot of doubts about putting it in the oven as well but it came out great. did it last week. 20 minutes at 200 degrees no preheat. you'll be good.

Lay a wet towel underneath and make sure any of the plastic isn't touching the oven. Preheat to 250 and bake for about 10min.

Just take your time doing it. Once you get the headlight apart, everything is cake from there. Wear gloves and carefull not to leave any residue on the headlight

I used a heat gun and a hair dryer and also two other people to pry apart and put back together the headlights BUT I recommend using the oven as well. Sadly my headlights would not fit in the oven. using the oven will heat the sealant all at once so taking apart and putting together is WAY easier. Good luck.

The wet towel will help prevent the headlight from melting while laying on the iron grates inside the oven.

When putting back on press the assembly together as best as you could (start with the outside corner of the light and work your way back to the middle). After you get it in as far as you can, reheat for 10 minutes, but don't use a wet towel. Use a dry towel instead. EdLuv143 and I learned this the hard way today after the heat caused moist air to leak into the headlight from evaporation. We had to pull the signal bulb out of the sealed assembly and let it set out in the sun for a little while to dry out.

Other than this, read the DIYs. They have everything you need to know.
