Clearing headlights

Does anyone plan on clearing out the headlights or already done it ? . . . I hate the orange . . . It would look so much better clear ! And what about the HID bulbs (change to a different temp ). Will it be hard to swap out the bulbs because of the bi-xenons ?

does it. He known all over the place for clearing lights. He's pretty much one of the few people who have perfected it. He lives in Kearney, NJ, not sure how far that is from you but he can probably do it in an afternoon.

OK, here it the problem with the 04 TL in clearing the head lights"

1. The 03 TL had a yellow reflector that was able to be removed from the parking light lesn of the headlight unit which gave you the cleared headlight (the parking light lens still stayed inside)

2. The 04TL has a yellow lens assembly, removal of this would remove the whole lens assembly and you would not be able to correctly see the parkng light or blinker!

3. In order to do it correctly on the 04, you need a NEW side marker lens MOLDED in clear plastic.

Here is your job should you accept it - invest in new MOLD so you can make new clear lens for the 04 TL

Unfortunately, there is no JDM or euro version of the car with clear parking lights!

I can have clear mold made if everyone wants a professional look... But I need atleast 10 to 15 people. I will talk to my guy and see how much they would be. The more people the cheaper it would be. I can also fabricate something to fit there. It will look clean but not as clean as a professional one. I have done custom ones for customers and they have been happy with the end result...

I say YES! make me one.

Mr , if you're feeling entrepreneurial you should start a little business doing this. Check out www.bimmian.com, they sell little colored trinkets and pieces for BMWs.
