Cleared / Smoked / Blacked Headlights

Just wanted to gather experiences from other members. Regrets? Recommendations?

I am in San Diego, and I'm planning to head to Rego Sports in Glendale to get mine done.

Oh come on! No one out there has experiences to share?!

For those that want to mod their headlights, what are you planning on doing? Where are you getting them done? Whats the cost?

For those that had them modded, where did you get it done (professional or DIY)? Have you had problems with it (fogging up? moisture? electrical problems?)?

Please share your thoughts!

Silicone, silicone and more silicone before you close them back up. Did I meniton silicone??? Even if it spills over the edges, you will not see it after they are put back on the car.

Just do it !!!

Getting the headlights and taillamps smoked tommorrow. Leaving the headlights stock and putting the Rockblocker smoked film over them. Will comment and have pics tomorrow if all goes well.

How much experience do you think it requires? What skills should one be good at before even thinking about DIY?

Anyone seen smoked reflectors the same color as the side markers.
Also how long is the total headlight clearing process 4 hours or so?

Teh Jatt- how is the reflection on the turn signal? does it look like a little bulb on the side or does it still light up from around the corner toward the high beam?
in other words: does it still reflect well?
looks great! please post pics with the lights on day/night

just a little bulb... in daylight you can't tell if the front signal is on, but at night you can. I'm thinking about putting the reflectors back in (ofcourse paint them black).
