BTW another idea I am exploring is replacing the chrome strip in the side reflector with the LED strip

what do you guys think? again its just an idea right now, I would much rather have the strip of LEDs rather than the halos due to dependability issues with the Halos.

I think that LED strip option is definitely something to explore. Much like the Audi R8, which is definitely sex on wheels. Are you still accepting people on the list for cleared out/blacked out w/ trade in? I have a 2005 NBP TL. Let me know. Thanks.

UPDATE: Just got my lights yesterday! I'll be putting them on today and shipping out the old ones tomorrow. Pics to come, with my switchback leds and new sidemarker lights

 

This is going to start moving nicely with the 2nd set of lights! I should have mine by the end of the week or early nexy week!

To people who are interested in getting the headlights done, I am sorry to state that I am not adding any more names to the list but once the group buy is over I might become a vendor again for the services

 

Just got my lights! Beautiful!!! I'll try to get them on here in the next few days so they will be in the mail come this weekend.

 

Finally got the lights today.(Monday) Unfortunately, I haven't received my switchbacks from autolumination yet, they shipped on the 9th but USPS is pretty damn slow. Hopefully I can the get the lights back out by the end of the week.

 

Nice now get them installed and lets see some pictures .


ahhh, I am in no rush its just the people in line that I am worried about.

I did get the other set from crazyfresh back, acurachic is next in line but her paint and halos arent in yet so I'll try to get the next person out of the way in the meanwhile.

On a less pertinent note, I am in the process of buying an 04 TL myself I got so much planned for my personal headlights .

 

if I have an extra set of headlights and ship to you, what kind of turn around am I looking at? looks to do the flat black and keep the chrome bezel thanks!!

Ok just got an update from Jokernum that the base model 07-08 headlights have different turn signals than the Type S model headlights. This means that the 07-08 headlights I have wont fit the Type S so unless the Type S 08 guys can send their headlights in for clearing etc we are stuck .

I'll have jokernum ship the 08 base modified headlights, pictured on page 6, shipped to the next guy in line with 07-08 base.

 

I don't get it.....both the 07-08 TL and the Type-S are suppose to accept the same bulbs correct? Well, here is the bulb from the 07 Type-S resting on top of the hole of the headlight from an 08 TL. Bulb is too big for the hole.......much less the socket. The socket on the Type-S will not clip onto the TL headlights because the hole is too small.
