Clearbra in East Bay or SJ area

Does anyone know:

1) Where to get a clearbra in the East Bay or SJ Area?
2) What did you get done and what was the cost?
(please specify if it was a clearbra or some other things i.e how many mils was the plastic, etc)

Thanks, share the information!

You might want to check with Jeremy at invisiguard@sbcglobal.net

Jeremy’s quote:“$595 for our Xpel full paint protection package (bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors, and door edges) installed with five year warranty, also offer you our 30mil thick high-impact headlight/foglight covers for an additional $75. Check the picture I have attached for the amount of coverage with our new TL kit, its one of the largest kits we offer. We can also do a custom trunk top on the rear for $35, all our prices are straight labor charges so there is no tax. We use 3M, Avery, Venture, and Llumar film all in 6mil, I would not recommend anything larger than 6mil since it is strong enough to stop all the chips, scratches, and "sandblasting" that you will encounter. Using 12mil is just more expensive and more visually obtrusive than its worth protection wise for typical bay area roads. See the pic I attached of how tough 6mil is. Let me know if you have any other questions, and if your shopping around keep in mind that we are the exclusive installers for 12 north bay dealerships including Prestige Acura, Presitige BMW, and Sonnen Audi. We also have a mobile service that can come out to you anywhere in the bay area for an install at no extra charge.

I found references to Jeremy on the G35 “Fresh Alloy” forum. Invisiguard is also listed under the Xpel dealerships in the San Francisco Area. He works out of Santa Rosa but will come to any location in the Bay Area. I plan on getting my TL done by Jeremy when it gets here next week.

Hmmmm, I've seen the 3M stuff and I can tell you it's not that tough. I can take a small piece of it in my hands and pull it apart with no problem. Take the 12mm stuff and I can't poke my key thru with two guys standing on each side stretching it; it's that tough. But the 5 year warranty is very good.

Exclamation Clearbra quote from Sacremento

Here's the quote for the 12mm stuff...$1050 sounds pretty high?

ClearBra is 12 mils in thickness. It is a 2 ply poly vinyl material designed to repel stones and bugs.

Our Total Nose package covers Bumper, Hood, Fenders, Headlight & foglights, mirror backs. The door edges would be $25 and the rear trunk edge $25 to $40 depending on how much coverage you want. The cost of the Total Nose package is $1050 installed.

We do not do Total Nose installs during the winter months due to the colder weather. Our space is not heated enough to maintain the 70 degree temperature level that is needed for proper installation on the larger jobs. The material and car surfaces need to be warm in order to conform to the shape of the bumper and natural curvatures on the car.

Thank you for your inquiry,

Jeff Davis

Mr. Tint in San Jose is doing my TL on Sat for $250. Just the front end and hood. They have a Porsche in Valley Fair mall for a demo. I guess for $250 I can't go wrong. I will update after the install is done.
