Theres a place in SC it is Rego Sport, don't have a number but if you do a search you'll find it. Many members have smoked/cleared their lights with them...

I temped to bring to the shop to blackout the headlights, but decide go with rockblocker tinted instead. Maybe if I have another set of headlights, I will blackout and add angel eyes mod

I think Lokius mentioned something like $200-$250 if they need to remove it from your car, $150 if you just bring them your headlights. Best way to find out is to call.

How much cheaper? This Rego place seems a bit shady. I called them and he said $230. I then had my girlfriend call him a few days later and he told her $200. WTF??? Is this Harry guy trying to rip people off?

One more thing, does he guarantee his work? He told me he doesn't 100% guarantee it, and that if something goes wrong then I'd have to pay for the labor to repair it. Pretty shady if you ask me. Too bad I'm almost forced to go to him, because I can't find anyone else who'll do the headlights.

I guess you should have your girlfriend bring your car in to have it done.

I wonder if they would be up for a group discount. I guess everyone interested should mention Acurazine then.

^um they CANT guarantee that type of thing. they are taking apart a headlight AT YOUR REQUEST. This is highly unusual. There is no perfect seal and you can be sure (as he is) that his seal wont be as good as the factory.

Thats what he means. He can't guarantee water wont get in there.

if he can't guarantee his work, then why bother paying someone to do? I feel like I should opt to do this myself, since if I screw up then I can try to fix it myself.

Where'd you learn how to do the window roll up mod? If there's a thread, where should I look? Thanks.

Just FYI, I got my headlights done at REGO. The right headlight is perfect, can't even tell thats its been opened. The left one however has a lot more glue residue and you can see it on the inside of the headlight, its not horrible, but its not the cleanest job... looks like he rushed that side.

I got mine done for 120.00, he did guarantee that water will not get in. I got my cleared out there first about a year ago and he charged me 120.00 and water never got in. I later had him black them out for the same price but water did get in, I took them back and with no problem he resealed the lights at no cost. Harry is not shady just a businessman. Tell him that your friend got his lights done there for one 120.00, and your friend as a black acura TL, he should remember, and that you live in the LA area. Hope this helps

got mine done there a while back. removed the orange plastic, replaced the turn signal bulbs, painted the housing black = $210. if you bring the headlights yourself it's about $150 to clear them. they do a good job and many local AZ members have been there

I know your saying he is not shady, but a $90 price difference between 2 customers for the same job? Maybe he should charge the same price for everyone.

Maybe he should but thats why you always have to bargain, 120.00 is the price that I paid to have them cleared and blackened. Seems that I got a great deal due to my mad business skills.... HAHAHA, Good luck to everyone 120.00 - 150.00 should be the price, any higher price than you are just getting the

guess what guys, i just called him...

he told me that if i want to clear AND black housing, it will be a total of 230. if i only want to clear them, it will only be 200.

the funny thing is, i asked them if i can bring in only my lights, he said he'll do the whole thing for 150. so i hesitated, and he lowered to 140. once again i sound like i was uninterested, he lowered that shit to 130!!!

dis fooz trynna hustle ey, and i believe i read someone's post saying that you got them cleared and put on black housing for only 120???

How about a group install? Get a few members together and head there or something.

I think they've done that in the past.

clearing just involves removing the plastic, while blacking involves painting the chrome on the inside of the light black as well as either tinting the plastic or removing the plastic

I meant both.

He said he'll charge me 230 for both Clearing the lights, and for the black housing all together!!!

Cmon guys, lets do a group buy!!!. PM for details, Im sure he can give it to us for less than 200 for both clearing and black housing. ( if we are doing group buys )

I called about 2 weeks ago and asked if we could do a group buy. He told me he wouldn't do it. I don't have the best of business skills, so maybe someone who can negotiate well should call him and try and organize a group buy.
