clear bra warning

for those of you considering a clear bra on a light colored car, i would think twice. i had mine installed on my white car two weeks ago and it already has several bug stains that will not come out. i tried twice, with multiple methods and the stains aren't even fading.

i plam on calling the clear bra installer to see if they will do anything about it, but i am not real hopeful.

i guess the question one needs to ask is whether they would rather have chips in their paint or stains on their bumper.

I had clear bra on my SSM. It was fine. No stains except this really small yellow stain that vanished after 3 days.
My hood, fenders, and bumper had no stains at all. Did a lot of highway driving at 65mph and higher speeds during the spring and summer time.
Do you wax your clear bra? You can use plexus on it also.

I would rather have stains on the clear bra than chips or stains on the paint.

Relax, the yellow stains will be "bleached" out by the sun, completely.
I wish chips would "heal" the same way...

I had the same problem. WDP. The stains seem to be fading though. I get anal now about bug stains and wash them off right away. I don't have time for extensive washes and I use a pressure hose and I actually put a small tear in the film from holding the nozzle too close. Yeah, I'm an idiot. The bumper film may go eventually anyways if I get a body kit
