Some people have reported how easily the aluminum trim gets scratched or dented. Has anyone used Clear-Bra or a similar product to protect it?

 

Yes you can use the 3M material for aluminum. Word of caution the look of the metal will change since the finishes are not the same. Many people have been using them for the Volvo XC90 as well.
