is learning to moonwalk i
I talked to a couple tint shops in the Orange area about doing only the rear windows and one was $140 without moleskin, the other was $110 without, $160 with. They said $25 per door for moleskin install.
Still debating the clear bra install. I'm sure after I drive up past Bakersfield this weekend, I'll wish I had it done.

Just had my clear bra installed by Jared at Sheeld Industries in Huntington Beach. Great job! Was worried how it would look on the WDP, but it looks fine. He ended up doing the full kit (bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors and lights) for $495!!
Did the large kit also. The one that goes almost halfway up the hood. LA freeways suck so this was a must for me. All rock trucks should burn in hell. :angryfire

I was quoted $500 for a clear bra from a shop called StarShield Armor in Irwindale, CA. I saw a Fountain Valley shop listed in the thread, I'll give them a call since they're much closer.

Ask for Carlos. Moleskin, 3m non-metallic, dye-free, lifetime warranty on all windows for $160. He did an excellent job.

One year update....
Well I hate to report that my experience with Sheeld Industries and their product (Avery Film) has gone bad. It all started a few months back when my film started to discolor. It was very strange. The film would absorb the soap color when I would take it to get washed and would stain extremely easy from bugs or droppings. Jared came out and replaced the hood part of the bra once, only to have the same problem happen again. Now the whole bra is starting to turn yellow. I don't know if he used a cheap film or what, but on a WDP you can really tell. I contacted Jared about a month ago and he said he would order me a different brand of film (3M). Well, a few weeks went by and no word from Jared. I called him three or four times since and he said it was on its way. This morning I called again and his phone and e-mail have been disconnected. It looks like I am out of luck.
Stay away from Sheeld Industries! (if you can get a hold of them)

PPF FYI:There are only a few manufacturers of PPF (3M, Llumar [CP Films], Venture Shield [Venture Tape], Clearshield [Bekaert] and Avery) otherwise known as clearbra 3M is the only manufacturer that has a layer of clearcoat. All of them offer basically the same warranty against yellowing, peeling and cracking and somewhat similar protection characteristics. These manufacturers offer a lifetime warranty on their products (Llumar and Venture Shield) while Clearshield, Avery and 3M offer a 5 year warranty. VS offers two thicknesses - 8 and 15 mil, while the others are 8 mil. As to which PPF is best, that's up for debate.
Most 3rd party vendors such as Xpel, Clear Mask, StonGard, etc. use 3M as their choice of film and some will offer the other brands. They offer pre cut kits with two types of coverage; standard and extended. Some of these vendors do installs or can refer you to a local installer. Some shops will custom install using bulk film. As far as the cost, it will vary with the installers, type of PPF package and factor in geographical location as well. Most applications/installations start at about the $500 range for your standard coverage.
You have two very good sources of expertise and information; Rockblocker and Mark the 3M Bra Man. If you have a question, I would suggest sending them a PM.

Jared made it right. He came out and replaced the Avery film with 3M film.
If you are in Socal give them a call. Sheeld Indtustries in Huntington Beach.
If you have a WDP I would recommend going with another film instead of Avery.
