What does the clear bra actually cover. I know it covers the front bumper and so cover the mirrors but is there a piece that covers the back bumper.

 

you can get the clear bra to cover basically anything you want. its just film which the person can cut and shape onto your car. most people will cover the front bumper, part of the hood and fenders and mirrors. i have rarely seen people cover the rear bumper but i am sure it can be done. this will probably prevent some minor bumps from parallel parking idiots.

 

I noticed 2 damn nicks yesterday. I was sooo damn pissed.

 

i hate it when i see nicks in the rear bumper i dun get how people do this. i try to get parking spots which force others to park behind me so they can see my rear bumper and not hit it. but i still get hit so i try to avoid public parking unless its properly divided with meters or something. people are strange in the city.

 

Most clear bras are cut by computer and are sold in kits. The top of the rear bumper is an option. I don't know about the rear-facing part. What you might prefer is those body side molding type things that attach to the rear bumper.

yeah man, I feel your pain. Do you have alot of nicks on the rear bumper? I got a quote on taking the nicks out and repainting. Every place I call says 2 hundred. I'm not gonna do it right now cuz I haven't had the car that long but I'm surely gonna get it done eventually.

I was thinking about getting one but they are soo damn ugly.

 

A 5/8" thick moulding going all the way around with the ends cut the same angle as the edge of the bumper. The color matches the splash guards. Above, two 8 mil. layers (16 mil thick total) of 3M Paint Protection film, same material as clearbra.

This is just a sample of what I've had done to protect the car's exterior. If you dug my plood work on the interior, wait till you see the pics I'll be posting soon of custom fender well trims, door edge guards SUPERIOR to Acura's, and placement of 3M Protection film installed on places you wouldn't think of, yet make perfect sense with all types of parking situations in mind.

Really? I have never heard someone say that about the film. Did you see a bad install or something?

 

I'm not talking about the film. I'm talking about those attachments that go on your bumper to protect it. They look horrible
