You should have gotten a soft, cleaning tissue to clean the navi. screen with. If one didn't come w/the car, use a *very* soft cloth to wipe the screen with. Make sure the cloth isn't too rough..which could cause you to scratch the navi. screen.

A piece of cloth that you can get when you buy a pair of eye glasses works best for me.

Lenscrafters makes both a micro fiber cloth and cleaning spray that works very well. I prefer the spray but have both.

Best thing I've found for cleaning Navi screens or any computer screen for that matter, is the stuff Apple sells at their computer stores for cleaning iPod's and other Apple computer stuff. It's formulated for the type of plastic (lexan) that is used on most computer screens, and really works great. I use it on my iPod, and my computer monitor at home as well as my laptop and cell phone. Works great!!

I ordered two of these. They were way too big. I was told that they redid them and replacement were sent. Six weeks later I am still waiting.

If you look at the Nav screen carefully, you will see a thin plastic film is on the top of the real LCD screen. This film looks pretty tough, so I wouldn't worry about getting a protector or cleaning solutions. In the worst case senario, you just have to replace it, but the reeal LCD screen is always stay protected.

I clean my laptop lcd w/ a damp cotton cloth (water only). I haven't cleaned the nav yet but I will do it the same way. As I understand it the nav screen has a coating for glare. Can anyone confirm this?
