Injen CAI

Not a very exciting post, just reporting that I installed the CAI yesterday. Did it myself with a friend that has a small amout of experience modifying cars. It was a really easy install that took a bit less than 2 hours, and has had pretty decent results. The noise produced is rich and deep and is only really prominent at full throttle. The power difference is notable, which makes the cost of the CAI negligible.

I know JimtheGreek has posted pics previously, but I will post some of my own once the galleries come back up.

now wait to through in the AEM instead, and you'll see a bigger difference. Slap that with my rear section exhaust, and you'll be flying past other cars, in style too

jimthegreek,

any word on an approx. date for the AEM V2 release? I've been holding off buying the injen to see which one is best.

I had the injen on my 02 tl-s and really enjoyed it, it just want the most hp gain possible between the two!

Thanks.

V2 might not make it for this vehicle. They tested it and it did kinda poorly..
The standard CAI should be released around April 1st is what i was told.... We'll see..
