Cleaning Crossbar Piece in Grill?

What is the best way to clean and maintain the crosspiece bar (holds the Acura logo) in the center of the front grill. Mine never looks clean and finished - appears somewhat spotty. I use Meguiars NXT car wash and NXT liquid wax to maintain the exterior. I use 303 Aerospace to maintain the interior. The car looks perfect except for the crosspiece bar. Suggestions? Thanks. Steve

when i was the tl, i use very little metal polish to clean all of the metal trim in the grill area, then i just wax it.

I imagine that if it appears spotty they are just water spots. make sure you dry the plastic piece real well after you wash. You could even try that 303 to rub out the water spots.

I used a Maguiers' Clay bar in the grille area after removing fallout from my paint. Takes some time but all the spots came out.

I use the MOTHERS mag and aluminum cleaner and then top it off with Turtle Wax PLatinum series car wax and a CLEAN micro fiber cloth
