After several years driving a CL Type S and browsing this forum, I took delivery today on a new 2007 TL Type S. The Moroccan Red Pearl with Taupe interior TL Type S with full A-Spec underbody kit is beautiful. I'd take some photos to show, but it will not stop raining. I took a hard look at the Lexus IS350 and the Infiniti G35, but I kept coming back to the TL Type S. The toughest decision was the choice of color. I'd like to thank the forum members for sharing so much information regarding their experiences purchasing and owning their TLs. I kept the CL Type S for my teenage son so that he will share the Acura ownership and driving experience with me.

congrats on the tl. i saw a mrp on the dealer lot and it looked sweet while i was there getting an oil change for my 05. it prolly looks so much better with the a-spec package. congrats again.

 

Congrats to you for the TL Type-S and congrats to your son for the CL Type-S.

 

just make sure your teenage son is mature enough to handle it... A CL-S is a lot of car for a teenager. Unfortunately you read all the time about teenagers in high powered cars doing stupid things and getting themselves and others killed. Be sure of what he's doing in that car for his sake and yours.
