CL-S pulled away
Last night driving home a CL-S (03 I think) came up behind me, we both punched it at about 50MPH and he just pulled right past my 04 5AT. I'm thinking sport shift woulda helped, but still probably not enough to keep up. I find that the 5AT is pretty toned down even if you step on it.

or has headers

Except for the Honda Factory Team race car, there is no known 3G TL running headers, simply because it's not an easy task, and no aftermarket company offers it for the reason.

It is OK to smoke V8's.

Just a clarification. The exhaust on the THR TL was a Comptech cat back, the forward piece was custom made by Joe MCCarthy at Prototype Racing in Torrence, CA and, yes, it does eliminate all the cats.

Well the new head design flows better than the old head+exhaust manifold, so in a way your already getting part of that header benefit without having to spend anything.

Ehhh, those are hub numbers, cant compare with typical dynojet because there is no loss of power due to the wheels. Plus no F'in way any stock TL is putting down 245hp/220tq, thats just rediculous.

They barely make 245hp at the flywheel (ok, so its 258hp, but come on), let alone at the wheels. If they really made 245whp then they would ALL run 13's.
350Z's & G35's, which are def faster than the new TL dont even dyno that much stock, and even most modded dont make that much.
A 6 speed CL-S6 is every bit as fast as the TL-6, and if the TL is an auto then the CL-S6 will pull away after 60mph. You guys gotta realize that even if you have 10hp more (or -2 depending what you believe), you weigh 50-75lbs more than the previous gen, and the electronic throttle really seems to put a damper on the fun.

Link?? Seriously doubt it, the J32is pretty maxed out except for the headers. Exhaust/CAI on the J32A2 is worth like 15hp at the crank, not anywhere close to 20whp.

That baseline is def lower than any stock 6 spd I've seen, but 230whp is still good for just those 2 mods. If he actually put down the more normal 215-20whp stock, then a 10-15whp gain is what he would have gotten with the I/E. Of course you cant argue with the dyno numbers, and there is obviously some power to be had with NA mods.

2015 RDX Base
I'm driving a '05 TL auto as a loaner right now while my CL-S is in the shop. My CL Is currently modified, but even compared to the day I bought my CL, the CL felt quite a bit faster than the TL does (stock vs. stock).
