Cig Lighter Outlet in Center Console Loose?

i use all my Power Outlets in the car for radar detector....and i swap back and forth in the center console between phone charger and IPod FM Transmitter which works decently btw......ive noticed that its starting to come loose and everytime i put something in it feels like its going to fall out...its probably for going back and forth with the Wireless FM Transmitter and the Phone charger so it loosend but now its at the point where it seems like if i keep doing this it will completely come out...what do i do? should i just say somthing to the dealership next time i go? if it breaks is it under warranty?

Plugging and unplugging stuff shouldn't make it come loose, unless you might have been a bit careless in doing so. Regardless, it should come under warranty and the dealer has to fix it, I think.

Take it in and get it fixed. It should be under warranty.

Get one of those 3 into 1 adapters for your cigarette lighter and you should be all set. No more plugging and unplugging. Any good autoparts store should sell them.

will that affect how much wattage goes to the actual thing that is plugged in?

Not sure about the wattage....but I've been using one for almost 5 years now for my cell, radar detector, etc. and have never had any problems.
