Changing steering wheel lamps?

Is it difficult to change a burned out lamp in the steering wheel? Specifically the "Volume and Channel" lamp on the left side. I have an 06 TL with Navi. If it's simple I'll tackle it. If it's detailed I'll let the dealer do it. Any tutorials or service manual pages covering this topic here? Thanks. Steve

I would like to know as well. My steering wheel is showing wear so I picked up a mint one on Ebay for $40, I need to replace that and the bulbs in the HFL buttons.

u guys can get the bulbs but if u go to the dealer n tell them about it and the car is under warranty theyll replace the switch i just didnt find it worth buying 10 or so bulbs for 6$ and then paying 12$ shipping for them.....the switch come out and the bulb is on a lock type of thing....you'll see if u order them. not hard to firgure out.

It is not a hard job. You Need to have knowledge about airbags because it has to be removed. It took me about 15 minutes.
