Changing Side Markers Color
#2
hhhmmm,
on the east coast blue side markers and a good dark window tint would be as good as a sign saying "pull me over, i'm asking for trouble".
i don't believe changing the side marker color would be easy. these are LED assy's.

I still have a few of the photos on my hard drive if needed from that posting.
It required cutting open the side marker (the part inside the fender)

I performed the Blue marker mod back in Jan/Feb of 2004. It's the only "blue" LED "stuff" on my WDP other than OEM lighting. I did it mainly to see how hard it would be due to the chat on Acurazine. The outcome looks darn good on the white and I kept it at the same brightness as stock. I'm an "older" guy yet still think it sets the car apart from others, and not "ricey" :-)
Either-way, been driving around the south/south east states since Feb of 2004 and have yet to be bothered by any law enforcement folks. Could be luck, could be the fact that it really doesn't draw that much attention... Nor does the way I drive etc.
Smoked, clear, blue,,,
It's all good
