changing all fluids..

i have a B service coming up and i think its time to change some other fluids as well...i have about 90k miles on my 04 right now and she runs perfect.

i had the tranny fluid changed at 50k which was on 12/06. it wasnt a full flush but rather 3 quarts i think. i dont have any tranny problems with shifts so would i benefit more from a full flush?

brake fluid was changed on 12/06 as well with 50K miles. acura recommends every 3 years. should i wait one more year or just do it now?

should the radiator fluid be changed? i couldnt find anything with a search.

what about power steering fluid? my power steering pump was replaced at 52k miles. would the dealer have to change the fluid at this time in order to replace the pump? if no, or even yes, should it be replaced now?

i bought new spark plugs but i never installed them. i think ill have the dealer do that as well. ive also done 2 seafoam treatments. one at 70k and one at 85k.

any other things i should have checked/replaced/flushed etc?? thanks

How about the oil? Does it need changing?

Spark Plugs - definetly.

Brake Fluid - Acura says 3-years the FIRST time, then *every* year there after. So, yes do that too.

Tranny, I thought the conventional wisdom was 3 x 3 drain and fill every ~30,000 miles.

The rest .

I just spoke to a service rep at a Honda dealership and he says just do a drain & fill on the brake fuild.

Then, spoke to the Acura service rep and he recommended a full brake flush using a machine.

Difference in price is about 45.00 dollars.

What is the right answer?

Just curious here: did you have your transmission fluid changed because Maintenance Minder, or did you have it done as preventative maintenance? This basically brings me to to a related question regarding fluid changes and flushes: go by Maintenance Minder, or just the standard norm--50k, every three years, etc.?

well the B service includes the oil

as far as the maintenance minder goes, no it wasnt on the screen when i changed the tranny fluid. i believe it came up around 60k though but i dont remember. its been 2 years and 40k miles since it was changed so ill just do it.

nevertheless, ill be changing the oil, the tranny fluid and the brake fluid and i guess ill have them do the spark plugs as well

im not worried about the power steering fluid i believe it was replaced when they did the recall for the power steering hose.

still curious about radiator fluid though..anyone know?

There's an Owners Manual here:

Just check the Maint Schedule Section.

acura of bellevue recommends transmission be done after ~15k and brake fluid be done every 30k. i paid 90 total for the two to be done
