Centric Rotors - Same for L&R?
Centric Rotors - Same for L&R?
Looking to buy new rotors from RockAuto, and I'm looking to pull the trigger on the High Carbon from Centric: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...=1430829&jsn=1
These were used by the previous owner but he also mentioned that because he bought two of the same rotors, the holes for the screws in the hub don't match up to the hub on the passenger side. I also don't see anything on RockAuto about differing sides, nor the centric website. Can anyone confirm if I can order 2 of the same rotors and that it'll fit?

I used the standard e-coated centric rotors on my 05 base and even though I didn't reuse the rotor screws (had to drill them out) the holes lined up. As far as I am aware they use the same hub assembly on both sides and the rotors should be the same.

They're the same side to side since they're straight vane and blank.
The rotor has 5 lug holes. It can be clocked 5 ways. The previous owner didn't realise this I guess? You simply find the right clocking to match up both screw holes on either side.

The only actual use I've seen of the rotor screws (besides ease of assembly) is when the wheels are off and you put side load on the rotor (trying to steer the hub or something), you end up pushing the caliper piston back in.
That won't happen with rotor screws.
Not sure if there are any other credible or practical uses.

FYI 125.40062 high carbon fronts are only for Brembo equipped cars. I have high carbons all around on akebono. Didn't really notice a difference from the oem rotors. Changing from oem to akebono gave a little more bite.
