Center Storage Bin Mat

whenever their are sunglasses in this top bin, it makes a ugly sound when going over harsh bumps. is their a rubber mat that can be obtained, just like the one on the bottom bin? i noticed that the tsx has one that is larger than ours, maybe someone can get a hold of this or i can order it from the delear if its not too outrageously priced.

Go to Walmart and get some of that soft plastic stuff that looks like a waffle and cut a piece to fit. Sold in the kitchen section because people use it to line their cabinet shelves and refrigerator shelves so stuff doesn't slide around. Couple of bucks at the most.

If you want the TSX mat, it's #16 in the picture, list $9.90.

What I did was get a piece of cork from a kitchen shop. They use it to line drawers etc. I saw the "look" in corporate aircraft where they use cork to line cup holders and other cabin items where rubber or plastic would look "cheap." I think the cork looks awesome...way nicer than the black rubber Acura uses. It comes in a large roll and all you have to do is make a template and cut to fit. It's very thin and easy to work with. It would look awesome with the Camel interior...or any color for that matter.

I had the same issue with my cell phone in that compartment. I trimmed up a neoprene mat from a mouse pad. Cushions and grips well.
