CD Text?

CD Text?
Being a car audio enthusiast and considering buying the 04 TL, there are some tradeoffs that I need some info on. I know that as good as the stock sound system might be, it won't be on par with a good aftermarket one. For those who have used or purchased the vehicle, does the stereo display CD text or radio station ID info?

So I wonder, Like some people said if you take CD's and put them on a DVD Disc, and play them, will they play?
Than have them show CD Text!
That would actually be better than MP3 CD PLayer, It would about or less than a MP3 CD, Give more Quality, and show Song Text!!

I wish the TL had RDS for the radio, but I do not think it does.

I really doubt that it displays CD Text for the following two reasons:
1) No factory radio that I've ever seen does this.
2) The TL doesn't even display song names on a DVD-Audio disc (at least from the photos I've seen).

I do not see how there would be any change in quality. Quality is primarily determined by sample rate, not CD-R or DVD-R.

Well I just went and checked the TL. It does not display CD-TEXT however, it will read burned discs with no problems.
So you could burn DVDs of your current CDs but navigating them might be a bit tricky.

The factory changer will read CD-R discs just fine, but Acura clearly states that it will not read DVD-R discs. So much for burning your music onto blank DVDs.
