Cargo net for 2005 TL trunk

Don't feed the...WTF?
Stupid question, but I'm asking because I didn't know.
Have you checked in your spare tire area? The net actually comes with the car and is located under the spare tire cover. I had no idea, and half expected it to be with the trunk tray I ordered.

Now that's a good question. I tried with no success and just put it back under the spare tire.. lmao.
It probably didn't help that i have a trunk tray and kept the tie downs underneath instead of poking them through. Oh well. I'll try again someday when I'm bored.

I was just reading this a moment ago, then came to realize that I may have a cargo net in my trunk...so I ran out the door, checked, and yes I do..haha, I love these forums.
Anywho - I lifted up my trunk lid for spare tire access, and there was this loose cap-like thing just sitting in the well. It has a sticker on it that says "Do not remove. High Voltage (25,000 volts) can kill"
Anyone have any friggin clue what this is? I can't look further into it at the moment, as I am at work and do not want to pull out my golf clubs.
Thx!!
-oh, its a '05 TL Type - nothing. DGP 5AT

Yeah, but I think I care more about replacing the cap that says on it "Do not remove" I really don't know what I'd do with 25KV in my trunk, except maybe a portable plasma deathray gun or something

Cool- you've found the nets.
Here is a thread with photos that are much more helpful than the owner's manual: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=65547.
And welcome to AZ!

I call shenanigans on the high voltage stuff. There is absolutely nothing in the TL that really has much for voltage. Maybe if you stuck your tongue to the LED tails and were somehow able to step on the brakes at the same time.
Or put a wrench between the + and - of the battery. Than I would offer you a warning. Otherwise I think the cap was perhaps some kind of a warning for something other than the TL (you leave town alot, or receive any vibrating packages in the mail? I hear high-voltage vibrates a little if touched)

Oh... and you're all welcome for the net advice. Sometimes it takes someone that doesn't know to admit they made a mistake before and realized something useful.
Now only if I can get the condensation out of my tails....

SCORE! I was just about to spend $30-$50 on one of these cargo nets! Never even looked there!!! AWESOME! Thanks for the tip! I had the big one in there and the small one. I have owned my car for 5 years and never knew that. :-)
