Carbonfiberhoods.com-Wow!!!!!!!!

Hi guys. I just wanted to bring this to everyone's attention. I found a really cool website with very rare and good parts for TLs and other cars like my modified 2008 Honda accord v6 sedan. This place has everything. I am buying a real mugen style carbon fiber front lip front from them for my car. Check back as I will be doing a fully photo shoot and review of the product and company. I a very impressed so far with their customer service. Check out the link below and let me know if you guys have heard of this company and website before.

Get the hood and let everyone know how it is. Make sure to weigh it and the stock hood so Inaccurate and the dieters can see the difference.

I would be interested to know how well the hood will hold up and if it's been cleared, or if it just has a UV-resistant coating on it.

This is nowhere near rare. Check the website out if you like EBay products.

I clearly explained above. They offer exceptional customer service (unlike ebay) or other sites I have been to. They have alot of rare carbon fiber pieces that not alot of people have and more. I will be buying their front mugen style front lip and I will post hd pictures to show you all.

Check the "canton meet 5-5-12" pics at https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-photograph-gallery-96/canton-meet-5-5-12-a-856389/. Ive owned mine for a little over a year now (though not from this site). It's 25lbs and I love it, though I did spend some bucks getting a clearbra applied to prevent yellowing/UV fading.

I didn't mean to sound like an a**hole. I have just never seen a set of wheels that cost $10K. I wasn't trying to blast the site, all in all they do have some pretty decent products

Thanks for the link, but the stuff on the site looks pretty rice-tastic, and judging bu the unusually low prices on most of the stuff, it's probably Chinese knockoff junk.

make sure when your buying any aftermarket hood you ask a lot of questions, specifically: metal reinforced hood latch and hinge points, uv protection, rolled edges, does it require hood pins on public roads, metal or fiberglass (if any) frame etc. I know theres more, but its been a long time since I ordered a cf hood.

scenario from way back, 02 ish. guy bought a hood from a company like this. bolted it up and drove it around for a few weeks. first time on the freeway he got up to speed and noticed the 2 front corners bouncing. next thing he knows the hood pops open at 75mph. hood wrecks windshield, roof, and sunroof glass. then comes off car and hits 2 other cars before it reaches the ground. Guess whose responsible for all that damage? he was. come to find out in the "small print" the manf said for off road use only. if it was to be used on public highways, it required hood pin kits on all four corners.

carbon creations has been around a long time. I worked at a speed shop from 02-07 and actually ordered kits and hoods from this company. some of the products looked great, some looked like total shit. just do your research before buying. doesnt hurt to ask for actual pix of exact part your buying either. ive seen some hella fuct up weaves on cf hoods. looked like the people that laid it out were drunk as hell.
