Rim Work + 70% tints

What's good guys? So my '04 ABP TL is in the shop right now getting the rims painted. First, you can see from the photo my tints. I got my tints done last week--I live in NY, the legal limit is 70%. Since it's a cloudy day they look pretty dark, but you can still see straight through them in daylight. I would probably make them darker if I could do it over, but I like the way it looks now. ANYWAYS, I getting my rims done right now. At the moment, the rims had a marks and scrapes on them from parking next to curbs, so they weld the wheel done to remove any marks and then repaint it. I went with a gunmetal grey paint and I decided to get a shiny finish over the wheel opposed to a flat matte powder coat.
Here is a picure of my car wheel-less, it looks so strange to see it like this! I am paying $165 per wheel total- this price includes all mounting and dismounting charges.
My next work will be on painting the grill gunmetal gray to match the rims and also doing the badges. I think I will debadge the back emblems (keep the A). Only thing is I need to get a new badge, does anyone know where I can buy one?
Instead of painting the emblems though, I think i'm going to plate them with black chrome. Should match with the dark gray.

I'll post a picture of the rims when I'm done, please let me know wat u guys think!

I bet the rims will look nice, but for $660 I probably would have stalked the black market for a bit just to keep an eye out for other options.

And +1 sharksbreath.

Congrats Welcome to AZ! Check out the 3G garage for tons of info. Also register your TL at www.myacura.com in the USA or https://www.myacura.acura.ca/ in Canada. Save your Navi and Radio codes there. Check for any recalls your TL may need.
You may also want to post here:

You'll have to post up some pics when you get those wheels mounted.
