Ebay seems to be the place to get CF hoods. I think the weight is close to the same but the bling factor is there. What color is your car?

i had a CF hood, i can't even remember the company's name...but i didnt feel any weight diff at all...off my hands anyway...nothing noticeable..... AVS i believe makes CF hoods, and they're known to be one of the best in quality and fitment..... our stock hoods aren't that heavy...can't say exact weight. the only way i think to get a lighter hood in CF, it would have to be very very thin...and thats not good... Id get it for the CF and its looks...rather than weight diff.

I remember reading somewhere that its only a 10 lb difference. Our hoods are pretty light to begin with. I've been looking at the VIS carbon fiber hood for some time now. But I want a CF trunk to go with it.
