Actually no... there are pics. They're from Quebec by the looks of it. Check out "Acura TL hood" on www.ebay.ca .I wonder if they're a decent quality hood. The seller has good feedback.

i wouldnt chance it, just go for the other seller, i'de rather pay a little more for a guaranteed good hood. That canadian seller doesnt specify who makes the hood or anything i dont think. and the other sellers are selling VIS hoods.

i called and talked to the guy in canada he said that its a local company that makes them and he is trying to say they are better than vis hoods because they make a mold of the factory hood everytime one is ordered

idk, chances are they won't be perfect and might have some imperfections. Maybe you should go for it and see how it turns out, might end up being a great deal.

i got the VIS, i would not pay 200 bucks for a CF hood, it is probly not good quality CF and it might now fit and etc.

I work for a carbon fiber hood retailer and we got one of those hoods to check out whether they were worth selling. Long story short... we don't sell them. They're total garbage. They fit relatively well with adjustment of the fenders and latch but the real problem is the edges aren't rolled and it faded in two weeks if I recall. Just do a google search and shop around for the cheapest seibon or vis racing hood. The extra money will be worth it when you don't have to get your carbon fiber hood reclear-coated in a month.

^ I wouldn't chance it, cf is sensitive to the elements when not properly coated so yea that cheap shit won't last

The vis hood is sexy

Yeah I used to know a few guys that did CF work. Good, quality CF parts are expensive. No way a hood being sold that cheap is good, unless you got the hook-up.

Make sure you guys get plan to re-clear your CF parts for longevity. I would check the fit, then re-clear right away with high quality clear.

i use to have a cheap carbon fiber for my 97 civic back in the day. Its some no name brand. But in a few months with rain, sunshine, snow etc the clearcoat will start to fade, and some sort of mildew built up from it. My neighbors came by and said did you forget to wipe the hood.

But anyways ask for feedback from previous sellers and see where they stand. Otherwise good luck and if it turns out well i might just pick one up myself!!
