Carbon Fiber Hood or Vinyl on AM TL

Carbon Fiber Hood or Vinyl on AM TL
so i need some opinions on getting carbon fiber on my anthracite TL. Ive done my share of research and found a few possibilities on what i want to do. I am in between on making a decision. I have seen a bunch of pics of the carbon fiber vinyl some get on the hood, and i personally think it looks prey good, especially if you put a few layer of clear coat on it, not to mention leaving the sides painted and only getting the middle portion vinyled. Only thing im worried about on an actual CF hood is the fitment, ive seen and heard a lot of problems with fitment. Obviously the carbon vinyl is cost effective compared to the real deal. all opinions welcome, and if anyone has pics of an AM TL with a CF hood, it would be much appreciated!

Veni, vidi, vici
I've seen a few CF hoods, and IMO they only look good on NDP and WDP (with black and white theme) I am not sure about the AM.
I think the key is the theme of the car. blacked out headlights, tails, grill, tints (really dark like 20-5%) , smoked RIMS and maybe if you CF the roof, then maybe you will pull it off. I have seen a Di-NOC CF put on a TL roof (WDP) and it looked REALLY good. I think fitment will be the least of your worries, if the hood looks out of place and random.

yeah i mean only reason i am considering a real cf hood is because i found one for sale pretty cheap. otherwise i was just thinking of getting the black cf d-noc 3m vinyl and doing that, and if it doesnt turn out well, i can just peel it off. i bought some of the black di-noc for the interior areas and the middle grill piece of the front and the rear silver bar already. i also was thinking of getting the roof painted/vinyled later on so i was just considering some other options since my lheadlights and tail lights are both going to be blacked out. once again, thanks for the input and all other opinions are welcome!

okay so i edited some pics on paint on different ways to do the hood and grill, a bit sloppy on the photoshop work but u get the idea. Also, i got this pic from another thread since it had the CF hood on it, i jus cropped in the grill. Hope this helps u guys out, thanks again!

I had to CF hood on my car until I decided to paint the hood the stock color. No one knows that I have a CF hood on the car now.

so i got my hood today, installed it and all, but i need to get it re-painted with UV clear coat and get the sides of the hood color matched before the sun kills my hood this summer.
Anybody know of any good body shops in the central NJ area that would do this for a fair price, preferably around south brunswick, nj...thanks in advance

It is far from the fake bullshit ricers put on their civics. Only issue with it is that hood pins are highly recommended for it.

haha yes the avatar is deff somthing you can stare at for a while.
well back on topic, if anyone knows some body shops in central NJ, it would be helpful. the cf hood doesnt look half bad with the full hood, but i think with the sides painted itll look much better, plus the sun is crazy strong right now here, so i needa get another UV coat put on.
