carbon fiber film

Probably an awful idea with the heat inside of the engine bay.
I'd only use 3M Di-Noc. Check my threads. I have pics of my CF grille/plate trim/interior. I'm still nervous about the grille and heat but it's held up great for the past few months.

Jess, I have tried the Carbon Fiber vinyl film-it didn't work well at all. But...I did not use the Di-Noc, so I can't speak to that product. I tried to to the engine piece in front of the radiator. I worked on that piece for over an hour and couldn't get it to look good. I did use the CF film on part of the air filter (under the hood) and it seems to be holding up well.
I've got to think the Di-Noc stuff would work better. It seems to be the product of choice that Jaime uses.
