Carbon engine cover
Looks very nice....I'm just perplexed as to why you'd spend all that money on a visual mod that you only see just when the hood is open...but that's just me.
But it looks like a quality piece...

Hey Dave, do you think they'd make custom parts?
I have a few ideas in mind that I may be interested in having a company fabricate...
I was going to go with CF-Tech in Hamilton... but it looks like CF-Works is another option.

1st off it's a great peice, and when doing up a car, one need not to forget the engine bay. It looks good, especially when your at a car show and pop the hood. It's attention to detail my friend. As for custom parts, you would have to email the guy and ask.

Again here is all the info you need, the more people who inquire and order this product, the more peices he will make for the 3G,4G TL's.
This is a quality peice of carbon fiber, no cheap stuff here. It is something to please you, people changing your oil, your mechanic, and even popping your hood at car shows. People are drawn towards this peice, and blown away!

I did. I ordered it through the eBay link and made an offer less than the $299 that was accepted today. Don't know if the person on the other end at the eBay link is the same person you are dealing with.
Just so you know he has listed the 04-08 acura tl CF engine cover even cheaper on ebay....

I think I will try to do all my engine bay covers myself. There is a video on youtube that explains how to do it. There is a kit for skinning already existing parts. They call it skinning. The website is www.carbonmods.co.uk It is in Britain and I think it is about $65 us dollars for the kit. I would probably need to order extra resin and CF.

The covers that the other person has is made out of CF.
GL trying to skin the engine cover, I personally would love to see someone CLEANLY hopping the throttle body cover. You do that and you're the man.
Skinning invariably leaves some misc. air bubbles even if you stipple the hell out of the mat...which can be nearly invisible to the untrained eye. A vac-bagged piece, such as this, will yield the proper results due to the insane load placed upon the mold/mat/breather...even that benig said, the quality of the part will be at the mercy of the mold quality to boot.
You CAN skin all of the engine bay parts with the exception of the engine cover for under $100. I really would advocate against skinning the latter.
