hey guys,
i need some opinions and pics of any tl would help me out alot.
i am plannin on tinting my 4 windows 15% and then 5% on the rear windshield.
i was told that by putting a darker tint on the rear it would make the whole entire tint of the car darker?

Just roll your windows down when the cops are around. What color is your interior? That makes a big difference too.

yeah doing the rear darker will make the interior darker..i got 30 all around on my CBP, but i think im going to get my rear re-done to 20...that should do the trick. i have the taupe interior so the tint looks lighter than it actually is.

tint meter reads 28% (factory tint + aftermarket)

btw i like the 30..it looks classy and not ricey

my interior it the taupe color. i mean i got 20% all around right now but i wanted alittle darker and 5% is too dark for me so im goin with 15% and then 5% on the rear to make it look a bit black. thats what the guy at the tint shop told me to do. so what do u guys think?

i would say go 15 all around, that is what i did for my carbon bronze tl ... looks perfect IMO, at night no one can see inside the car

I have a CBP with 5% all the way around, i normally just ride with the front windows down and I have no problems, backing up is hard to do with all the windows up when its nighttime, but with the back-up cam its manageable. I just love the way it looks.

Oh man. 5% in the back? I have 20% all around and I have a hard time seeing from the back. And I live in Texas where the sun is still shining at 9:30PM.

on that.....if it wasnt for the backup camera i would have put my damn windows down everytime i reverse haha

20% all around and loving it.... 20 is the sweet spot not to dark or too light.
