A 2005 TL or
I have found the last 330i ZHP with Navigation. It also has Black Leather, Heated Seats and Xennons
$41,450, they are firm on the price, as it is the last one in the Western US.

can i ask why you wouldn't look at the new 3(2006)? IMO you would save alot of money with the TL; now and in the long run. obviously i'm a little bias.
is it the last new one in the western US? somehow i'm assuming the dealer told you that, and that doesn't sit well with me.

I have had several dealers check, and it was one that told me where this car was.
I don't like the new e90, and in the long run, would prefer to get the TL, put some classic wheels on it, and turn the Navi into a TV, and still save some money.

One of my friends is broke because his m coupe is so expensive to maintain(oil changes, parts, etc) Rule of thumb, honda parts are cheaper then bimmer parts. But if thats no issue, i think the tl looks more aggressive and more stylish. Its up to you in the end but I would go with the ac. Either way, you arent getting shafted!

It's the last one today! Tomorrow it's just one of a bunch of 'old' body style Beemers. They came out with a new one cause that one is dated and will only become moreso as we all get accoustomed to the new one. No discount, let them sell it to someone else imho.

Smart move looking at both camps (boards). I did the same when shopping 'mein neu' automobile. I was **this close** to buying a 3rd generation TL but after thoughfully thinking it out I choose my Silver Grey 330i ZHP.
The drive and handling on the E46 330i ZHP won me over. Great road feel, you really feel connected to the raod and not isolated. The steering is taut and very responsive. I actually smirk and smile each time I get into mein automobile. The ZHP's are (in my opinion) much cooler looking than your run-of-the-mill 330i's . The rims are difficult cleaning though .
The dealer should have worked with you more. The price is high especially now that the E90's are out.
I bought my 330i ZHP with Xenon's and Navigation for $1000.00 over invoice and $6000.00 under msrp.
Well, enjoy your TL.

The TL is 6.1 from a Road and Track review.
Top speed in a TL is 147 mph.
In a 330i ZHP 155 mph.
Both electronically limited .

eduardo has a 330i, traids. themainevent's comment on TL (6MT) being faster than the 330i (AT) probably didn't sit too well with him.
short of m3/vert, i would stay away from 3 series... just personal preference, eduardo, i know it's a good car.

I'm sorry, but I have an M3 and TL, and the E46 is light years beyond the TL in handling and performance. And no, I'm not comparing the M3 to the TL, just a plain 330Ci.
The TL is a better deal when you consider what you get, but from a performance standpoint, Bimmers rock.

Considering you can afford the ZHP, I'd buy it. I know it's smaller, older style, less reliable, etc etc, but it's more of a driver's car that the TL can't even come close.
Manual tranny TL and ZHP will run neck to neck on the straightaways, but when the road starts turning, the ZHP is a better car.
BTW, I bought a TL, mainly because the ZHP is too expensive for me.

I'm not sure about this.... I've read BMW autos are among the most efficient in the world. Timing gap between manual and auto is usually pretty slim.

you're gonna have to test drive them both. the price should be lowered since the new model 3 series are out, but its the last one. the red looks good. its all up to you!! do a really long test drive for both cars and make sure you psuh it when you test drive it.
