well isn't that just silly ? i wouldnt just decide to remove my emergency cuz im too lazy to figure out how to do it properly. with that being said, i will most likely leave the stock caliper alone for now. maybe one day the bug will bite me and i will look into doing this the proper way.

ok now that i understand what you were trying to say. the evo front are a 4 piston caliper while the rears a smaller 2 piston caliper almost the size of the current rear caliper so the brakes should change their biased at all.

i will post a separate thread soon with more day time pictures.

but the car is super clean inside and outside. no leaks anywhere, no rust. suspension is solid. owner #2 removed the resonator and the third cat and had some RS mufflers installed and it actually sounds nice and not raspy at all. i think i may add a resonator back to tone it down a notch. ill decide after i get it on the road soon.

If you'd like, you can just add it to this thread, and I can rename the thread and move it into the Photography subforum so you have a timeline of your car's journey all in one place

I love this project.

that is cheap if it was half decent!
i found a couple for that low but they needed a ton of work, i dont mind the mechanical work much but a body that is in a rough shape is nothing i want to deal with.

OP I wouldn't worry too much on the car you bought since the interior is in good condition, whoever had it seem they really take a good care.

im definitely not worried about anything pertaining to this car.

few small things need to be fixed. like the climate control light bulbs. plastic cover under the steering column is not properly secured. need to clean the short ram air filter. that is all i spotted last night.
