Canadian ’06 TL owners – What did you pay?

Canadian '06 TL Owners:

What can I expect to pay for a new TL or TL Navi in southern Ontario? Thanks!

Peters,

Although I am not a TL owner yet, I share your resentment of having to pay some $5 - $7 K more than our American brothers for the same bloody car (with daytime running lights and metric speedometer).

Putting that aside for a moment, do you think I can do much better than $47,000 CAD for a TL, freight, PDI, AC tax, gas tax, PST, GST included?

Is that with NAVI? Seems like a good deal to me if it represents about 10% discount. I bought mine with NAVI first out of the gate in 2004, little in the way of discounts at that time. I had my car broker buy it.

Without Navi.

That price is through a broker and represents about a 6% discount.

Not bad I guess. Acura has a strong market in Toronto and their cars are well optioned and typically cheaper than Infinity, Lexus and BMW comparables. 6% is more than I got at the time.

49K out the door for a 05 6-speed with navi, including a-spec suspension, front spoiler, rear lip spoiler and the paint protection, leather protection, undercoating.

The bottom line is the TL is still very good value compared to a lot of other comparable vehicles, particularly with Canadian pricing.

I paid 40K before all taxes. With trade in on an '03 Odyssey, and saving the tax on trade...45,250 on the road. without navi.

2.8% financing right now...you can't beat it.

mpax.

40k before taxes, and is that with the trade value of the odyssey?
how much did they give you for the odyssey?

sounds like without the trade you would've paid 50k out the door.

i'm just wondering guys, where is this 1.8% finance advertised? I drive a CSX that was purchased in full but my dad's looking at the TL so are we eligable for the 1.8?

ps. thanks for posting the prices everyone, it's really helpful for us who may be purchasing in Canada to know what to expect fairly from the dealership

quanTL,

The 40K was not with the trade. W/out trade would have been $47. They gave me $18 for the Odyssey...with trade $26510 tax in (or $44,510) depending on how you look at it...

These prices for on the road, did it include the 7yrs/160k warranty, leather protection, rust proofing and undercoating?

If the on the road price included all these, seems like a good deal.
