I'd like to ask whether any of you purchased it and what the cost was?

I don't know how long I'll be keeping the car for but I just paid it off at the end of last year so I anticipate keeping it for atleast 3 more years.

the usa version is about 1000-1500
negotiate with the MANAGER on terms and price, see what they have as options
Avoid sales staff that make commission on the deal

You want full engine and transmission coverage with a low or no deductible each time its in the shop
there are too many electronic things to fail- its cheap insurance
hopefully you dont ever need it--but if you do, sure beats a $5000 bill for repairs

 

Bought my TL-S in Calgary at the end of March. Since it was "Acura Certified", they offered me extended warranty of 3 extra years (7 total) 140,000 km or 160,000 (don't recall) for ~$1,200. They said they normally charge over $2,000.

I took the warranty because I looked at all the electronics in the car and figured if any of that broke, it'd be $$$$$$$$.
