can a US TL have DRL?
can a US TL have DRL?
I was reading the manual, and they said that only the canadians can have DRL, but in the US we get the fog lights. I know in my dad's BMW, this guy hooked the computer up to the car, and turned on the feature from there, can this also be done on the TL? I really like having DRL because i dont like using the xenon lights unless i have to, and its always nice to know that someone can see you when their heading in the direction with the sun in their face.
thanks
thanks
No. The BMW system is very different. It simply used low power to the high beams if told to by the computer. Acura has bixenons and the other light socket holds the fog lights in the US and the DRLs in Canada. You could swap the bulbs, but there are switch differences, too.

But the Acura bits are correct.

damn...well my dad has a 2001 540i so i know it dosnt have the bi-xenons, and it does use the halogens at in a low light setting, so I guess that rules out any relation with the acura. maybe i can go to the dealer any way and see what i they can do.
