Can someone help shed some light on this '05?

Hey guys, I found an 05 that I'm interested in...I did an Autocheck on it and they stated the car was in a collision. The only thing thats odd is that the collision happened before it was even sold. For example, the collision happened on 1/25/05...it's the first notification (per say) about the vehicles history. About six months after, the vehicle was offered for sale. The vehicle has a clean title, 63K on the clock and I can get it for a pretty good price. (13K) The vehicle was also sold at auction as a fleet/lease vehicle...does this mean it was a company car or just came off a lease? Thanks in advance guys.

Is it possible for you to post the autocheck or get screenshots of it?

Maybe it was in a collision on a test drive? Or a salesman joy ride?

Lol...thats what I was thinking. The only thing that sucks is that Autocheck doesnt tell you how severe the damage is. I'm guessing if the vehicle was sold (obviously brand new with zero miles) that the damage could not have been that bad or the dealership wouldn't have sold it. Right? or Wrong?

more than likely it was damaged on a test drive. It says that it hit another car and that's not really possible if it's being unloaded off a truck. As well it's not really possible if it fell off a lift or something. It might be worth a shot to go to a bodyshop with the car and ask to see what was replaced (what's not factory) to see what type of accident it was.
