Team Nighthawk for example has a really nice Web Page.

For us to remain the most powerful TL team on the web, we need a web site too. Is there an Anthracitians out there that can put together a similar web page that would act as the organization chart for Team Anthracite?

Vffr- I've got a friend whose checked out the Nighthawk page. He says there's no security and he can hack it very easily, so if you give me a list of the usernames and a few images I'll get our site built for us asap. Just keep it quiet as I wouldn't want those black folks getting upset or anything. BJ

 

boltjames--you have issues. Why would you want to hack someone elses page? No originalilty?? Also if you wanted to keep it quiet you should not have posted it on an open forum...or are you trying to let your true colors show like the racial comments you made on a previous post about black men driving TLs being rare. If you also read your quote up above you talk about "those black folks" that again could be taken 2 ways (black as in persons color or car color).... :rocketwho

Might as well just save the page in IE and then just change the HTML code. If that is what he calls hacking then, that is the easiest solution.

 

I also want to join the team. I will come up with a snappy title at some point. I think that the webpage is a great idea and would be happy to help out with any scripting issues, though I don't really have the time to host and/or write the whole thing.

Hacking the others team's web is not a good idea, in any form. We are all TL owners and just because someone has a different color car doesn't mean that they deserve our ridicule. We got the color that we liked and they got what appealed to them the most.

Looking forward to sharing pics and ideas with all of the Team Anthracite members!

I have been away for a little bit (though I did catch the other comment from BJ), so I may be mistaken when I say that I took the comments above as being in jest. If he is in fact making racial remarks and was serious about stealing the website, then I am in no way defending him. It is very easy to take things out of context here, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt unless I am proven wrong.

Just my $0.01 (I'm Jewish, so I kept the other $0.01 for myself - and yes, I really am Jewish :p)

IMHO, you need to get a life. Who do you think you are sending PM's and suggesting how people should act. Is your "presidential" power going to your head already? Who elected you anything anyway? Wasn't it just that you came up with the idea, and was first to take the title, or were you actually voted a president on by all Anthracite owners?

Being politically correct is dumb to begin with, but you my friend are taking yourself way to seriously.

Working with sixth graders I often feel like head of security. What do ya say Mike?

 

If marquis does web design for a living, then I am sure that whatever scripting abilities I have pale in comparison to his. But, I can always lend some SQL advice and have some good Flash resources if we wanted to put up something really spiffy.

 

Mike, with all due respect, I like my current title. As you might be able to tell from my user name, I don't mind making fun of myself (or others if they like), nor do I take it seriously. That was the title I suggested in the original thread and I would like to keep it. It seemed like the whole Team Anthracite thing was kind of tongue-in-cheek at the time, so it seemed appropriate to continue that. If this is actually turning into some true hierarchy, then I will gladly switch to an inactive member, since I have no intention of getting rid of my car
