I plan to do it when my brakes need changing, but that won't be for a couple more months. I would like to know what type of paint you used, if you do it.

You can use garden variety Rustoleum from Home Depot. I have painted the calipers (and letters) on two Corvettes. My current one has been painted for two years, and the paint still looks like new.
I have red calipers on a WDP, I used G2 Brake Caliper Paint, no spray = no over spray or dripping. It paints on with a brush nice and smooth easy to apply and a brilliant color. I have used brake caliper spray paint in the past and it always causes a mess and is a pain to make it look good. Doing 3 of my vehicles with spray and then switching over after recomendation from a TL member I switched and I will never go back. The cheapest price I found on the G2 was from this site http://www.newlevelmotorsports.com/ --

I found this caliper paint kit, but don't know if its high-gloss like the G2 caliper kit. They are both brush on's & i think Gloss looks better.

i got engine enamel paint from discount auto parts and a tiny brush from a modeling kit, it took about 15-20 min per side but well worth the time and effort. with my way you cover nothing you only paint what you want/need to... mine turned out great i will try to post some pictures a bit later
oh and for those of you that havent done it yet, make sure to clean the calipers before you paint them!!!!!

Cliff, is it shiny or flate based when it dries?
So you do one caliper at a time and let dry in between coats? At least 1 hour per caliper then? I have no access to a lift so that I could get all 4 wheels off. For the back calipers, are there troublesome mechanical parts you need to avoid/tape off? Did you mask out the white "Acura" on the Brembos? Sorry for all the questions.

if you use a brush and take your time you only need 1 coat, i only did the back as the fronts were already black, i wanted the rears to match. a jack is all you need, just one wheel at a time. paint it and remount the wheel. again if you use a brush, no taping or covering is necessary
I have painted calipers on a couple of my other cars. I would recommend getting a lacquer based paint that is made for calipers. I used an enamel baed paint on one of my cars and after a few thousand miles the paint peeled. Remember the calipers get hot and, paint not meant to heat up will peel.

i've only used the dupli-color high temp paint FORD RED and its comes out great!!
make sure you use brake cleaner and wait like 10 seconds before that dries off then tape off the surrounding parts and start spraying!!
i would do it when the temperature outside is warm so it kinda dry and then you can put more coats on otherwise it will look like its dripping
