California Duster Question

Just got the California Duster and this thing is awesome. I can't believe how much dirt was on my "clean" car. Anthracite really hides the dirt well.

Anyway do you guys clean your windows with the Duster? Since it was brand new I gave the windows a swipe before I Glass Waxed them, but now that the duster is dirty I don't know if I want to touch the glass with them again.

Hate to ask a dumb question... but what is a Calif. duster??? one of those green fuzzy things that's suppose to be a magnet for dust, etc.???

I don`t because of the wax on the end of the duster. Could smudge on the glass.

It`s a large duster with a handle and has wax on the tips of the material to pickup dust. Never needs to be cleaned

Let it sit on paper for 48hrs before first use and it should be fine.

dont use it on glass... just on paint... i have lines everywhere on my glass. You just end up cleaning it again with windex.

I use it without any problems on the windows and shields.

They work FINE on the windows, but DON'T do it when the car is hot. It will melt the wax and leave streaks.

ALSO - when you dust the car, be sure to hold the duster so that only the strands are lightly brushing the car. Don't let the weight of the duster rest on the car. This will prevent ANY scratching at all, even if the duster picks up a large bit.

The duster also works very well on the interior to dust the dash, etc.

Thanks, I didn't think of using it on the interior!

DMZ why aren't you out playing in your car?

I don't know what it is about this car - I hate cleaning the windows at home but I'm neurotic about window dirt on my TL.

Put it back in the plastic bag and then into the black carrying bag and hang it on a door knob.
