A/C screen on Navi?
is it possible? i thought i saw it somewhere on this forum before but i cant seem to find the screen where you can adjust temperature from the navi screen. or maybe im jus making things up and hullusinating(spelling?).

i don't think it exists for us. on our 2001 odyssey minivan, the navigation is similar but i can tell it was much more primitive than the current TL's. the A/C controls were built into the navigation..
most annoying thing ever!!! it was so hard to change just the fan speed or the vent selection. i'm glad they got smarter.

its not available but doesn't mean its not possible. someone here once loaded the accord dvd bin and got options that was not available on the TL. i dunno why the interface would change between the 2 cars. offering the A/C on the TL would have been nice. you figure they would give you everything an accord had and more because its suppose to be more luxurious.

yea, one more question, i know this is OT, but can the navi display song names? i have CDs that shows names on my old head unit but i havent tried it in the TL yet

No the TL Navi does not have an A/C screen, but why would you need one? All the buttons are already on the dashboard surrounding the screen. The Accord has the A/C screen, b/c they could not fit all the a/c funciotn buttons on the dash.

I seemed to see a picture of AC screen on Navi screen way back to last Sep. In some early-print brochure and information, Acura posted that. Alos, in early built vehicles in Oct., TL listed some 04TL-doesn't-have features over the window sticker.

Back in the fall someone took a Honda DVD and put it in there TL and it had the AC display. I am thinking it had trip info aswell. They they made the comment about how it was unfair that honda would have that and Acura wouldnt.
