Talking Buying In 30 Days!!!!!

I'm going to be purchasing a new TL w/o navi in the next 30 days...just waiting on Uncle Sam to give my money back!!

Anyway....best i've been quoted is $31700...I'm goin for a 60month finance w/ approx $3000.00 down, no trade involved...Just wanted to hear from everyone if this seems like a decent deal or hold out for better....Everyone in Houston is saying "give me last look" but John Eagle has come back with that current price....I've been approved through the Acura online credit but still dont know a rate yet...havent run credit...my score is not perfect i know so I know I wont qualify for the lowest rate....Anyone's input is very much appreciated....

What payments are you looking at?? APR??? My guess is that in 30 days you may be able to re-negotiate for a lower price...maybe I'm wrong?

It's quite difficult for people across the country to tell you whether or not that's a good deal in your market area. Somebody from the East Coast might chime in and tell you what they got off but that doesn't mean you'll get the same deal in your market area.

Hopefully folks from Texas and the Southwest will chime in and give you their deals.

I would definitely shop multiple dealers though and play them against one another to get the lowest price possible.

Here in the midwest, the best I could do in the exact 6MT non-navi car was $1,700 off MSRP.

Plus, I would say that it all depends on whether you want a 5AT or a 6MT as the 6MT's only compose about 10% of production. Obviously, if you're looking for a 6MT Non-Navi in a certain color like Anthracite/Ebony, you won't have as much bargaining power than if you're open to multiple color combos and perhaps the 5AT.

If you're looking at a 5AT non-navi, I think people from the Southwest have done better than your current deal.

Assuming your quote of $31,700 and factoring 5% sales tax for a total of $33,285 and less your $3,000 down payment to get the loan at $30,285:

6.9% - $598 per month

5.9% - $584 per month

4.9% - $570 per month

I have no idea what the Texas market is bearing right now on the TL, but I think you could do better than $31,700 on a 5AT.

I agree...with $3K down I cannot imagine having to pay nearly $600/month including taxes. I would think you should be able to get into the high $30,000 range...by high $30K of course I mean between $30K and $31K
