Burberry TL sighting!!
Hey guys, I am in the market for a 2005 TL w/ navi so I have had my eye out for TL's driving by and I sure spotted a strange one today!
I saw a redondo red TL pulling out of wawa with what looked like burberry plaid bumpers. The burberry was placed on the side moldings below the doors and the lower portion of the front/rear bumpers! This has to be the silliest thing I have ever seen on a car that is not more than 5 years old.
Sorry, no pics since i didn't have a camera on me
BTW, anybody in the philly area, look out for this vehicle

funny. before i got my TL, I saw this car. It was in the Willow Grove area. I was going to post asking if anyone had seen it, but decided to search first. I was looking all over for different rims/etc and I was definately shocked when I saw this. I did take a picture with my camera phone, but it has since been lost. It was kind of neat to see what certain people had done. I would never do the same myself, but all in all, it wasn't too bad.

there was a guy on the Audi forums a few years back with a Burberry plaid interior on his A4. He was quite proud of it, IIRC. It was rather hideously g-h-e-t-t-o fabulous.

I'm a Burberry kinda gal and I would love to see that car! LOL.
Although, I wouldn't do anything to my own car, quite like that - but, to each his/her own.

IMO, I would agree that if it's not authentic and custom made by Burberry for his car - then it is ghetto fabulous. But more power to him for being an individual.
And sorry for seeming defensive - Burberry is one of my favorite designers and I get offended when people automatically associate it as being ghetto. Yea - it is ghetto when your buying knock offs from a vendor on the street or making up your own wanna-be plaid. But the real stuff - not ghetto. :shakehead

I can appreciate a piece of two of burberry pattern, that lite brown with plaid is very nice as a scarf, tie, hat, but not an ENTIRE interior of a car .....

this may have been the car. it was that color, however, the bottom few inches of the car's exterior were covered in the plaid burberry cloth. it was very strange to look at and definitely not something i would ever do.

i just read his post and it was the car..."Had "BurBerry" vinyl on the rocker panel, too gaudy. Ladies seemed to love it. Thinking of doing the head liner this Winter"
