Hey guys,
My 06 TL got into a minor fender bender, bumper will need to be replaced, I'm thinking since I want to eventually install fog lamps, can I buy a later model bumper (07-08 perhaps?). How much modification if any will need to be done, to get it to fit my 06?
Thanks for the advise, insurance gave me $700 for the repair so I can also buy the type S.

Should fit fine with no modification necessary but your going to have to buy the grill as well.

 

yes you can get the later models or the type S, with grille, and now you can have foglights without cutting up your bumper doing the accord fogs lol

 

That's what I may end up doing. Anyone have a later TL bumper for sale or know a good place to buy so I can upgrade my 06 bumper w/ fogs?

 

Also, anyone have a pic of such conversion?

Lots of people have done this mod with both the base and type-s 07-08 bumpers.
Just do a search for "front bumper conversion"
As ggesq mentioned, you will have to replace the main grill components and buy new lower grill/fog parts.

You will also have to get the bumper painted if you buy it new b/c they only come primered.
